Greeting Card Factory v. 11
I had more graphics with v. 8 than I do with v.
11. Isn't there a bonus CD I should have gotten, or can get? In order to get v. 11 to work, I had to completely remove v.
8, so I lost my bonus graphics. I've tried to get in touch with Nova before and didn't get a reply. I've been a long time customer of the Greeting Card Factory programs, and would appreciate a reply please. I hate to remove v.
11, then reinstall v. 8 again, after all the trouble I've gone to purchasing it.
Have you had this problem in the past? If so, do you have any ideas as to why, or what I can do about it??

DO NOT BUY NOVA PUBLISHER PRO 3.0
In the box was only the disk and a registration card, NO MANUAL NOT EVEN THE QUICK START GUIDE they claim is in there. I tried to figure this out but after so much frustration I called and waited on hold, and waited and the third call got a person.
She said they stopped including the manual a year ago. I ask how to get one, maybe download one on line. NOPE, SHE SAID WE DON'T PROVIDE THAT EITHER. THERE TECH SUPPORT WANTS TO CHARGE YOU FOR HELP.
THIS PROGRAM IS NOT LIKE THE ORIGINAL PUBLISHER IT'S DIFFICULT. SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ....THE WORST EVER. UNPROFESSIONAL, I JUST WANTED INFO ON HOW TO RETURN IT.
GUESS WHAT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND IT'S LESS THE TAXES. I CALLED OFFICE DEPOT WHERE I BOUGHT IT AND THEY WILL GIVE ME A FULL REFUND.
Preferred solution: You will not refund tax so I am returning to the store who will give me a full refund

Nova Development Publisher Pro 3.0 Rebates - Bogus Delays for Payment
Nova Development rebates are some of the WORSE offers you could get involved with. Publisher Pro 3.0 is a decent product but I would only recommend you buy it if you have no better alternative.
Have used this product over the years and it is suitable for some projects but has various limitations. Rebates and getting yours is like a "hit and miss" venture; they take excessive time and never follow-up to advise why they have not paid. I have waited now over three months for the featured $40. rebate.
Have called and inquired (after being on hold for over 20 minutes) and they claimed I did not include a "proof tab" from the bottom of the box. Submitted a digital photo showing that it had been submitted...still delayed.
Well I have again reached out to the company and have also asked the vendor (Fry's) to help. Avoid the headache and buy from companies that are interested in taking care of their customers...Nova Development clearly is NOT one of them.

Don't bother with this package, it has no value. I couldn't get some of the software to load, and had to uninstall the one program I most wanted.
No support form Nova. And most infuriating, they sold my email address and phone number. I have been receiving at least 12-15 unwanted and sometimes inappropriate emails daily as well as many text messages trying to sell me health Insurance-these have since subsided since open enrollment is over. I have tried to reach customer support to resolve issues with some Windows 10 compatibility issues with no results.
When I initially tried to install the software, some kind of Malware infected my new computer (should have installed anti virus software first).
Had to reload the entire operating system. Would have been better to purchase the couple of programs separately.

Greeting Card 11.0 upgrade from 9.0 Deluxe problem
It is now February 4th, 2017, and I still haven't been able to install this damned program! I have been pulling my hair out since January 22nd, the day I purchased it.
I have screwed my computer up unbelievably deleting other programs and files.
Yesterday I just threw my hands in the air and attempted a system reset to an earlier date. Well, guess what, the computer wouldn't allow any date earlier than Jan. 30th for a reset. That's eight days that I had to screw things up and unfortunately cannot go back any earlier to over-ride.
I don't know if I mentioned in an earlier post that when I finally got a response from the technical site, they want to $CHARGE ME$ for assistance!! What a scam.
It's time I make an effort to return it and get my money back... (to be continued)

Contacting Nova Development Support is a Joke!
I recently bought the Greeting Card Factory Deluxe 11 upgrade bundle which included free software: Creative Fonts, label Factory Pro, Movavi Photo Editor, Movavi Video Editor SE and Murder She Wrote 2. I was able to install all software with the exception of Label Factory Pro which I could download, but could not install.
I have tried to contact Nova Development through emails and phone calls and have come to the conclusion that they are IMPOSSIBLE to contact! The latest automated message said I would need a support code in order to talk to Support--but there is NO support code! This is totally frustrating!!!!
I am using Windows 10--is there a compatibility problem? Why is it so difficult to contact Nova Development?

I made one purchase from you and asked that I not receive email promotions. In the past week I have received 5 promotional emails. Each time I click on unsubscribe and get a message that my email has been removed from your list yet the damn emails keep coming. Get me off of your list permanently.

Request for Class Action Suit against NOVA for product fraud: SBF 5.0
NOVA Development should be sued for FRAUD, when it continues to sell a defective product (namely: Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 5.0) when thousands of customers have paid $10.00 apiece to talk to IT support, only to find out the company is aware of this issue and makes no offer to refund or replace it in the future. It is almost impossible to find a customer service number, and then they are powerless to satisfy customers.
Yet they continue to sell the product, now advertising that it can be used with Windows 10!!!
while no solutions have been found to fix the product defects. This is FRAUD, and I cannot believe nothing has been done to remedy this.
Preferred solution: Please FIX the software glitches...or take it off the market.

Have the same problems, also will not print on envelops correctly, graphics have wrong description underneath, clicked on a little bear and a basket of flowers turned up. Extremely disappointed with v11.
Company has no principle - there should be some correction available.
I have been a very long time user of previous programs and did also have problems printing on envelopes. Sadly will black ban them and also make comments on my FB page.
I worked out a solution to the reduced graphics provided in the upgrade. Luckily, I had a copy of the Program Files directory with version 8 installed and was able to use it to do what I describe below.
If you can find someone with a version 8, the graphics are in the Program Files directory under Nova DevelopmentGreeting Card FactoryGraphics, or if re-install version 8 yourself, you will create the old set of graphics there.
All you need to do is rename the version 8 "Graphics" directory to "Graphics OLD", and you can copy it into a Version 11 installation in the same path in the (Program Files directory). Just drop the directory onto a thumb drive and transfer it into version 11.
You will end up with a bit of duplication, but keep it all, because there are some things in the new version that aren't in the old one and visa-versa .
When adding a graphic to a project, choose to "Add a graphic from a FILE", * Not the Library *. That means you don't need to be connected to the internet. Then use the drop-down arrow to browse to the directory where you added the copied Graphics directory.
That will give you use of all the graphics you had before the change to version 11, plus any new ones.
I found that the location of the Graphics directory gets added to the Browsing drop-down list after you have used it once, so it is very easy to find next time. Hope it helps you....
